EDG is experienced in oil, water and gas separation, water flooding, gas compression and reinjection. EDG's project experience includes both new fields and increasing production in existing fields.
Crude oil, raw gas or finished products, EDG provides services in gathering, pumping, compression, transportation, storage metering and loading. The company is adept in hydraulic studies, pipe sizing, pumping station siting and the most cost-efficient selection of pump and compressor equipment.
Process Units
EDG is particularly skilled in the close tolerance engineering required in skid mounted and modular process units now in high demand for difficult environments such as offshore, North Sea, Alaska, Arabian Gulf, etc. EDG has taken full turnkey responsibilities for many applications such as power supply modules, compressor modules as well as having engineered other diverse plants such as anhydrous ammonia terminals and liquid nitrogen plants
Fuel Handling
EDG has extensive experience in both offshore and onshore tanker loading terminals, tank car unloading and truck loading terminals, in vapour recovery units, metering of multiple product pipelines, automated tank gauging, instrumentation, SCADA and centralised microprocessor control.
EDG has provided over 300 tank gauging systems over the last 4 years with a particular emphasis on the reduction of the cost of maintenance as well as providing state of the art systems. EDG's installed systems range from Pearl Harbour to Warri refinery, from air force bases to loading terminals.
Refining
EDG has experience in all aspects of refining facilities,
from process to distribution, but in particular has substantial
experience in control, instrumentation and power systems as well
as 
refinery optimisation.
Shutdown Systems
The company has direct experience in engineering fire and gas detection, emergency shutdown and other safety systems for offshore platforms and onshore facilities throughout the world, having provided ESD and F&G systems for over 160 onshore and offshore systems
Systems Reliability Analysis
EDG has extended the application of System Reliability Analysis, a discipline initiated by the aerospace and nuclear industries, to incorporate offshore platforms, tank farms, LNG and LPG facilities.
